Bayinah Academy exclusively offers the British National Curriculum. To ensure our students receive a globally recognized and respected education, all our programmes and qualifications are accredited and awarded by Pearson Edexcel, the United Kingdom’s largest awarding body.
This single, consistent partnership guarantees that the education your child receives is held to the highest international standards from their first day in Early Years to their A-Level graduation.
The Academic Journey at Bayinah Academy
Our students follow a clear and structured progression from Early Years through to A-Level (Key Stage 5), with assessments that are benchmarked internationally.
1. Primary & Lower Secondary (Key Stages 2 & 3)
Students build a strong academic foundation.
At the end of Year 6 (Key Stage 2) and Year 9 (Key Stage 3), students sit for formal International Checkpoint examinations to assess their progress against global standards.
2. International GCSE (Key Stage 4)
Following Key Stage 3, students progress into the two-year International GCSE (IGCSE) programme in Years 10 and 11.
This globally respected qualification is the culmination of their secondary education and the gateway to A-Level studies.
3. A-Level Programme (Key Stage 5)
Admission into our A-Level programme requires a minimum of five IGCSE passes, in accordance with Pearson Edexcel standards.
In Years 12 and 13, students specialize in three or four subjects that are directly relevant to their future university degree courses.
The A-Level qualification is modular, consisting of the AS-Level (Advanced Subsidiary) in Year 12 and the full A-Level in Year 13.
The primary goal of our academic structure is to ensure our graduates have global opportunities. Pearson Edexcel A-Level examinations are internationally recognized and accepted by leading universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
